Use of Polyfill.io Service

The Service is a hosted instance of software known as Polyfill Service by The Financial Times Ltd., Number One Southwark Bridge, London, SE1 9HL, United Kingdom (in the following referenced as "FT"). Polyfill Service provides snippets of code, called "polyfills", that provide a consistent experience across different browsers. When you load our webpage (that uses Polyfill Service), your browser will download the required polyfills from the FT Server in order to present the web page successfully in your browser. In order to provide the polyfills, the Service and FT receives from your browser certain technical information including:

  • browser details
  • connection details (such as your IP address which can identify your approximate location and/or name of your ISP)
  • the URL of the web page which has made the request to the Service (www.ecom-ex.com)

FT uses that information to determine which polyfills are required by your browser.

FT retains only the following information:

For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection by Twitter, Facebook, etc., as well as information on the processing and use of this data, and details of your rights and options in terms of protecting your privacy, please refer to the respective provider's data privacy policy.

To prevent the immediate undesired transfer of your usage data (e.g., the address of the website you are currently visiting) to these services, our website uses "Shariff." However, a single click on the button to share information with others is sufficient. You need take no further action.

If you do not want the provider of the social network to be able to associate your visit to our pages with your user account on the network, please log out of your social network user account.
