Thanks to the functionality called kiosk mode, it is now possible to limit the use to specific functions on your mobile device. Thus, you're able to deactivate all functions you don't need and to concentrate on the built-in camera. You're getting a great 8MP camera for use in hazardous areas and rough environments along with the option to send the photos immediately to colleagues or the control centre.

Did you know that you can use the Smart-Ex® 01's camera as a Barcode and 2D scanner as well? With the kiosk mode you will turn the Smart-Ex 01 into a great inspection and maintenance tool. This is another intended use for the camera function. You are free to choose if these settings can be undone at any time or fixed for removal by administrators only.
