ACHEMA is the world forum for the chemical engineering and process industry and was in Frankfurt, Germany from the 15 – 19th of June. With over 3,800 exhibitors from 54, this show is the largest of its type, helping people from the whole industry network and share ideas for the future.
ecom have been exhibiting at the show this year showing off the latest devices in their range of hazardous area mobile computing equipment. With the introduction of the Tab-Ex® 01, the World’s first Zone 1 certified tablet and the Smart-Ex® 01, the world’s first 4G LTE / Zone 1 device to run the Android™ 4.4 operating system, ecom have had a busy show.
At ecom’s stand, delegates we’re able to learn about ecom’s mobile worker concept, which ties a range of devices together in one eco-system to help workers complete their work in a more efficient manner. Using equipment such as an i.roc Ci70 -Ex handheld computer, a headset and another portable equipment, an operator can complete a much wider range of tasks while in the field than was ever previously possible.
