ecom's new application add-ons stand out due to their easy and intuitive usability and improve the safety of working in hazardous areas. They complement ecom's concept consisting of intrinsically safe mobile devices, best fitting accessories and peripherals, modern application software and service.
Yellow Button App*
ecom's "Yellow Button App" enables the operator and mobile worker to initiate a call or send an SMS by just pressing the dedicated and programmable yellow button on your phone. It's designed to help operators add some basic safety to their daily work. Moreover, it's the ideal tool for lone workers or tasks with some higher risk.
Red Button App*
The new "Red Button App" by ecom is an easy to use basic Lone Worker Protection application. In case of emergency, the app contacts an individual phone number and opens a voice channel. Furthermore, there is the option to send an emergency SMS to 5 different phones.
On top of that there are three different types you can send an alarm:
- To send an alarm press the red alarm button at the side of your phone manually (Manual Alarm)
- Position sensor: The Phone sends an automatic alarm when the phone gets in a specific angle after a specific time. An individual time and angle adjustment are possible.
- Time Alarm: Send an automatic alarm after a specific time. An individual time setting is possible.
