The Feature phone Ex-Handy 09 (Ex-Handy 209) is the mobile phone in ecom's communication product line. It's called Feature phone because it's a hybrid - real keys and a touchscreen focusing on communication in contrast to a smartphone.
The Ex-Handy 09 is already the 9th generation of ecom's intrinsically safe industry proven mobile phones. Compared to its predecessor, the Ex-Handy 08, it offers a lot more and advanced functions.
Touch screen
The Ex-Handy 09 has a 2,6-inch large full colour touch screen with Glove Touch technology. This and the fact that this display is protected by Corning® Gorilla® Glass, one of the strongest and most powerful glasses on the market, ensures that the Ex-Handy 09 is made for uncompromised work in harsh environments.
On top of that, although the Ex-Handy 09 has a touch screen, it also has a full numeric keypad. Moreover it has several hardware buttons for PTT and LWP functions.
Apps
The Android operating system allows you to choose out of thousands of industry apps or apps offering in the Google Play store - 100 % legally due to the Google certification of Ex-Handy (2)09. Communication is easier than ever before: Now chatting, video and voice messages, sending files and data are possible. You can work safer and more efficient by choosing the right applications that are best fitting to your daily needs.

Hardware
The Ex-Handy 09 has high performance hardware inside. The strong battery provides a long battery life (Up to 1000 hours Stand by, up to 40 hours talk time) and the powerful loudspeakers help you to phone in loud environments. Furthermore the tough phone is approved with IP68 protection according to industrial standard. That means it is protected from micro particles (dust) and water - so it won't give up if it becomes rough.
