New standard EN 60079-14:2014 published
The technical IEC Committee has published the new installation standard for potentially explosive atmospheres EN 60079-14:2014. The contents concern new requirements regarding installation and safety in potentially explosive atmospheres.
The standard contains the specific requirements for the project planning, selection and construction of electrical plants in potentially explosive atmospheres and applies to all electrical equipment as well as mobile and permanently installed systems.
