With the buildout of the mobile data network a new technology is finding its way in the company's world of communication - the talk is of Push-to-Talk (PTT). With the new possibilities and advantages, the old radios (LMR) will be replaced by Smartphones little by little.
The advantages are numerous. Due to the mobile data network, it is now possible to communicate worldwide and you are no longer bound to radio range. While the service employee is doing maintenance work at a pipeline far away, he is in constant contact with his colleague at headquarters. With the use of mobile data networks, installation and maintenance of a cost intensive infrastructure are eliminated; therefore, you are able to connect thousands of users to your system. Those, who still want to use their existing devices, are able to integrate them with a so called bridge. PTT allows you to communicate economically, securely, and with speed, across the world.
Using the modern communication solution PTT enables clear and easy understanding with several different communication modes. On the one hand, classic group calls, as you know them from common radios. On the other hand, calls with increased priority for emergency situations, dynamic group calls, or sending messages and data. The single groups, user profiles, and rights can easily be managed with the management system.

There are many more functions and possibilities, such as LWP solutions; making it possible to perform a quick emergency call, use indoor and outdoor tracking, or manage the different users. In addition, the app can also use the camera to start a video conference or to establish visual contact, in case of emergency.
