Offshore Europe is the world's largest technical conference and exhibition for the offshore exploration and petroleum industry. The event is attended by over 1,500 exhibitors and 63,000 industry professionals from over 100 countries around the world. Offshore Europe is the perfect environment to show new products and ways of working directly to the people who will be using them in the field.
At this year's show, ecom were able to show off the Tab-Ex® 01 for the first time. This ground breaking tablet is set to revolutionise the industry, bringing a wide range of applications into Zone 1 hazardous areas for the first time. At the show, ecom also had the Smart-Ex® 01 and Ex-Handy 09 Zone 1 smartphones which lead the way in intrinsically safe communications.
As well as ecom's range of products, visitors were able to learn about ecom's mobile worker concept which brings a range of devices together to transform the way an engineer or technician completes their work in hazardous areas. This concept consists of a series of devices that can speak with each other, enabling an engineer to complete a wider range of work while out on-site.
