Personnel Protection Technologies (PPT)

Personal protection technologies (PPT) are electronic/other technical systems that the mobile worker can carry to minimize hazards in the work environment.

PPTs include gas, chemical, dust, radiation, temperature, noise, vibration, and other detection systems as well as man-down and lone worker protection systems that protect workers during work in hazardous areas.
