eSENTINEL – Basic Lone Worker Protection
eSENTINEL is designed to help operators to add basic measures of safety to their daily work. It's the ideal tool for lone workers or tasks with higher risk.
Note: This app will not replace a certified "Lone Worker Protection"-System. If you have higher security requirements, please get in touch with your sales representative to discuss alternatives.
Functionality
This app is pre-installed on dedicated ecom hardware. It can be used on third party hardware as well.

- By simply pressing the hardware based Red Button,
- pressing the floating red button on devices without dedicated hardware button,
- when a pre-defined timer reaches zero,
- when the phone is inclined below a certain angle or
- when external sensors connected to your phones detecting alarms

Free Trial
This application can be used within a 4 weeks full functional trial period free of charge. Afterwards a license key is needed. This license key can be installed by using the following methods:
- Online licensing server (recommended)
- Adding the key manually
- Offline license file
- Using the eDS PORTAL as additional service
gps_fixed
GPS data collection
eSENTINEL does not track GPS data or other personal information in the background. Only in case an ALARM is raised, the correct GPS location will be sent using the selected method.

- Password protection to avoid accidental changes by operators
- Pre configurable via XML file (Before installing the APK: Download the XML file with its corresponding settings to the "\Downloads" folder on your device)
