Beacon

Beacons send out signals via radio waves, often using the Bluetooth standard. They can be installed in fixed location, where they send out a signal that is received by apps installed on mobile devices. This allows the location of employees to be determined. Beacons are a good option for indoor localization, since GPS has limited to no functionality inside buildings.
