The Ex-Handy 08 is certificated for Zone 1 / Div. 1 and ecom's most famous 3G-enabled cell phone. The Ex-Handy 08 shows high performance capability and guarantees software compatibility as well as network compatibility.
Meeting the demands of the market for more effectiveness and the latest technical developments, ecom provides the next future-proof generation of intrinsically safe 4G / LTE devices: Ex-Handy 10 & Smart Ex® 02.
Depending on the configuration, the Quad-band cell phone merges the functions of five devices all in one:

Product Description
The Ex-Handy 08 is designed for hazardous areas and is suitable for phone calls, sms, mms and emails in Ex-Zones 1/21 and Class I, Division 1.
It features Bluetooth® 3.0, email client(POP3/SMTP, IMAP4), A-GPS®, a 2-megapixel camera with LED photoflash and video functionality, LED-flashlight and push-to-talk. The Ex-Handy 08 comes with MS Office applications such as synchronizing of external contact data and calendar data with MS Outlook®.
Thanks to protection class IP68 and permissible ambient temperatures between -20 °C and +55 °C, the Ex-Handy 08 can tackle the hardest conditions in harsh industrial environments. The cell-phone comes in various colors with a three-year No-Questions-Asked-Warranty.
