Lone Worker Protection
During the development of the Ex-Handy 08, we have continued to build on the success of previous models to provide workers with the best tool for protecting themselves in hazardous areas. The lone worker protection mode can be enabled or disabled easily and quickly by pressing the green function button (so-called On/Off function) when entering and exiting dangerous areas.
Two further safety levels allow workers to activate the tracking function and the 3D motion sensor. By simply pressing the yellow button, the control centre can detect where the worker is located through the tracking function and activate the 3D motion sensor can indicate when the worker is in danger. This is clearly indicated on the display, which shows the safety level currently activated.
One of the most advanced features of this device is the SMS alert system. This enables individuals or entire groups of employees to be informed quickly and effectively about any hazards or accidents that have taken place involving the lone worker. This group of employees are alerted to this message via a prominent audible signal, which requires a response and confirmation that the SMS has been read.
