Smart-Ex® 02 DZ2 with HART Communicator Kit

The Smart-Ex® 02 DZ2 with the VIATOR® Bluetooth® HART Interface is a fully-equipped HART communicator kit for Zone 2 and Class I / Division 2 hazardous areas. This kit includes everything you need for a full-featured, handheld HART communicator for hazardous areas.

Included with these hazardous-area HART communicator kits: 

  • Smart-Ex® 02 DZ2
  • Complete HART DD Library
  • Viator BT Bluetooth HART Modem
  • Complete Kit is pre-installed for customer

Application

The Viator Bluetooth Interface is a point-to-point HART modem for temporary connection to HART field devices. 

The modem is operated by replaceable AAA batteries and can operate for approximately 20 hours. It attaches to a HART field device with 18-inch leads and test clips. The Smart-Ex® 02 DZ2 uses an internal Bluetooth interface communicate with the modem.
