Lone Worker Protection

Lone worker protection refers to technical devices that "protect" lone workers who are out of sight and beyond the reach of colleagues. In case of emergencies or accidents, these devices allow workers to receive help quickly.

Lone workers are often equipped with devices that send an alarm to the control or rescue center, either automatically or by the active operation of an alarm switch by the lone worker.

Automatic alarms can be triggered by deadman switches or position, impact, and motion sensors. Alarms can be sent via text message, audible signals, or GPS tracking.
