Features

Guard provides three security options for lone workers in social and physical unsafe situations:

1. Timer: The employee may apply for work which he sees as potentially dangerous. It is indicated how long he expects to be engaged in this work. This is done by choosing a time interval. The timer starts to run on both the mobile phone and in the Guard backend. When he is ready this will be logged. If this does not happen, after the expiration of the time interval alarms, alarming will be put into motion.

2. Alarm Button. Alarm can be activated with the push on a button. The employee is alerted that the alarm goes off soon by warnings and irritating countdown.

3. Man down alarm. No movement of the employee is found by reading the accellero meters in the mobile phone. Again, the employee receives clear warnings and irritating countdown that the alarm goes off soon.

The alarming numbers can be added by phone (per user) and / or via a website (organizational). The alarmed person is called and receives an SMS with information of the person who initiated the alarm including a google maps location. Also, the location of an employee can be given in a building (indoor location determination using beacon technology). All the alarm information is also visible through a web interface.
