S1 Collector

The S1 Collector app works in tandem with the SCOUT220-IS and COMMTEST220 portable data collectors. These data collectors are smart solutions that represent the next generation of portable, lightweight devices including a vibration data collector, the S1 Collector app running on an industrial smartphone, and System1 software. The S1 Collector app exchanges data with System1 via Wi-Fi or a cellular network.

The solution comprises:

• A data collector which is a strap-mounted, portable multi-channel vibration acquisition module
• The S1 Collector app which is installed on an industrial handheld device
• The S1 Collector app has a simple, intuitive interface for full route and off-route recordings. The app offers a graphical gauge for machine vibration and landscape mode for quick onsite analysis of spectra.
• An industrial handheld device such the Ecom Smart-Ex 01 and Smart-Ex 201
• System1 which is a modern, easy-to-use vibration analysis PC software with industry-leading charting and analysis capabilities

The S1 Collector app is available for download from the GE Bently Nevada Technical Support portal.

Follow these steps to download the S1 Collector app from the portal and install it on your industrial handheld device:

1. Using your industrial handheld device or PC, go to Bently Nevada's Technical Support Portal: http://bntechsupport.com
2. Register if necessary.
3. Read the International Trade Regulations Notice and select agree.
4. Under Products and Documentation, find Download Center.
5. Select Browse Software Updates.
6. Select Service Packs, Firmware, Misc. Software.
7. Browse the list of available software to find the S1 Collector app. Select S1 Collector Application to download the APK file.
8. If you downloaded the APK file to a PC, connect your industrial handheld to your computer using the USB cable and copy the file to your device.
9. Find the APK file on your industrial handheld and install the S1 Collector app.
10. If prompted, follow the first set of instructions to allow unknown sources to install an app on your industrial handheld.
11. Follow the remaining instructions to install the app.
