Innovative solution developed for the safety of workers, using Smart PPE that prompts the worker if they aren't weared and need to be put on
The solution has been designed, developed, manufactured and patented jointly with the customer E-Distribuzione S.p.A. which has currently deployed it on about 1,600 workers (will be extended to 4,000 by 2016).
Features
- Constantly checks that the worker is wearing all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that are mandatory for the assigned task. It checks also that PPEs are kept worn while executing the task.
- Notifies the worker with an alarm sent with the smartphone, when the safety equipments for his safety protection are incomplete.
- Uses
- a smartphone as the main hardware
- active Bluetooth Low Energy tags applied to PPEs.
System Requirements
- A valid username/password
- Android APK installed (for mobile app)
- A modern web browser (for web app)
- At least 1 Smart PPE
